 In Local News

The nearly 13 thousand-acre Milli Fire burning SW of Sisters is 32 percent contained. The fire has mainly grown to the west and will eventually come up against the lava fields. Crews completed burn out operations yesterday and were helped by cooler weather. The level one and level 2 pre-evacuation areas remain the same.  This is one of several fires in the Cascades including the Whitewater, Rebel, Box Canyon, Little Devil, Horse Creek Complex and the Umpqua North Complex.
